Thousand Oaks is a play system that includes a large number of slides (not a thousand, but a significant number), all of which are set next to each other to create a cascade effect. For those looking for a lower degree of intensity, there is a smaller 3-foot slide to complement the big trio of six-foot slides. Between them is a Spiral Climber, which allows youngsters to return to the top of the slides without having to travel all the way around the structure, as well as a Bubble Panel window, which allows them to watch their friends go down the slides on either side of them as they are climbing back up. There are several climbers on the side of Thousand Oaks that is opposite the slides, including an Overhead Straight Snake Loop Ladder, an Inverted Arch Ladder, a Pixel Climber, a Vertical PE Rock Climbing Wall, and a Pea-Pod Climber, amongst other structures. A Gear Panel with brightly colored moveable gear components is included, as is a Spelling Panel, which pushes children to spell as many words as they can in a given time period.
